Summary0000864: Changes to Settings not stored beyond active session
DescriptionIn release StableTwo-45-gbffce31 of EMStudio (64bit semi-stable build from emstune.com) as installed on Windows 7 SP1 64bit, default "settings" are initially Linux-specific. Trying to change these values to anything else (such as values which Windows can work with), followed by clicking "Save", will result in changes that persist only while the running instance of EMStudio is open.
Steps To Reproduce- Open EMStudio
- Click "Ok" when prompted with the error "Unable to open serial port /dev/ttyUSB0 Please ensure no other application has the port open and that the port exists!" (note missing period after ttyUSB0...intentional?)
- Click on the "Edit" menu and choose "Settings"
- Change any setting (ie. the com port and datalog location) and click "Save".
- Quit EMStudio
- Reopen EMStudio and the user is presented with the same error as mentioned above and with the default settings restored.
Additional InformationThis works fine in earlier versions, such as in f0764b47.
