Summary0000725: COM Port Drop Down Box
DescriptionCOM port drop down box displays "COM1" and "COM1" as defaults. No other ports shown in drop down list. I manually typed "COM2" and it worked. Either populate the drop down box with all ports available on host or kill drop down box feature and replace with a text entry box where the user types in their desired port. Current arrangement is slightly confusing, prone to errors.
Steps To Reproduceopen loader.
select com port drop down box.

I'd leave it, so you don't have to re-add it later. Why not create a "findAvailablePorts()" function and stub the insides with fixed list for windows from 1-9 and just read the /dev dir for ttyS* and ttyUSB* devices on Linux, and similar on mac (it's a little different though). Then it's a step in the right direction, not backwards.
