|Summary||0000689: Unify look and feel of internal OLV-specific buttons that are currently ugly on many platforms|
|Description||The buttons in the Windows Vista/7 Aero theme have a rounded square border that should not be there. See screen shot attached to issue 0000680. Additionally the blue background on Linux is difficult to discern during a press. On mac they just get darker, which looks OK for lighter buttons, but some are difficult to see a difference in. This look/feel is part of the app, not the platform. It should be unified across all platforms by force to be nice. Discussion on what "nice" is shall begin below!|

|Updated to reflect my expectations from earlier conversation.|
There is also something funky going on with the buttons on Linux or johntramp's L&F.
The buttons have transparent backgrounds which allow the background to show through. Clearly the background behind the buttons is different from the foreground all around it. Shouldn't they be the same?
We may be forcing a foreground that isn't appropriate.
Fixing this may also help button press behavior look better as is.
As discussed previously, we'll make all platforms look and feel the same with respect to your internal OLV-specific buttons. It's just a matter of what they do or don't do in future.
Also discussed previously is that as long as there is click indication, which the blue ugliness provides, it's good enough for 0.0.3.
