This is a functionality feature, so it is not super high priority, but it will eventually be an option.

Disagree, this is a basic and fundamental behaviour. When you fix it, up to you, but it's very important that it works that way. First step, grey/hide/rm save button and make it live edit. Second step, connect save to burn packet.

Agree to disagree. I will add it as the default option, but maintain the option to have it the way it currently is.

It's valid to edit without sending, but only when "offline" at all other times you definitely want to send to ram. Just as you definitely don't want to write directly to flash ever. Possible exception for bench test ram edit. This is a fixed desired behaviour that is common to all users, not something that user A wants one way and user B wants another. Trust me. I know this shit. :-)

I trust you, however I also trust my own experience with tuning where I know how I personally have wanted it. I'll make your method the default until someone complains, but it will still be a setting :)

When I first started tuning my engine, I had to adjust the entire stock timing table at once to give it a much more gradual curve. Granted I did it with the engine off (Though I was still connected to my ecu), but had I done it with the engine on, I would have liked to get the table adjusted to a nice starting point, and then write it all at once. Especially if you typo inside a value, and suddenly your engine starts running like crap. I've done that once or twice.

I see a use for it, so I don't see a reason to get rid of it as a feature.

But isnt it better to adjust a single value at the point where the engine is currently running to see whether you improve or begin to screw it up before you apply all changes at once. If you apply changes all at once, then you could seriously damage the engine being tuned.
