rm -rf being able to turn off a list in a menu, what? Why? Not normal at all. Move to ASAP as it's an easy feature and very useful. Requires config file setup to be fixed by me first.

About this. Two styles that I've seen recently:

1) sub-menu with list
2) divided section of menu as list

I guess "number remembered" should be A limited and B configurable in count.

2) would work well for <= 5 and 1) would work well for <= 10-20 or so.

Thoughts? Which style? Both/either?

I've mainly only seen the 2nd style, but I'm more keen on a version of the 1st implementation.
I think maybe the "Open" menu can produce a sub-menu (if hovered and not clicked) which shows recent directories, which in turn each open a sub-menu to recent files opened in those recent directories.

This seems intuitive to me and implements both the recent directory and file lists we're looking for.

Hovering over a directory or file in the sub-menu and pressing delete on the keyboard should remove the directory or file from the recently opened list.

In the setting the number of directories remembered and the number of files per directory to be remembered can be adjusted. Also an option to clear all.

Thoughts?
